We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible authoritative Word of God. (II Tim. 3:16; Rev. 22:18, 19)

We believe that there is one God, Creator of all things, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Matt. 28:19)

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and personal return to power and glory. (Col. 1:13-20; Heb. 1:1-4; II Cor. 5:21)

We believe that sin in man, which separates him from God, can be removed only by faith alone in Jesus Christ. It is through this faith alone that man is restored to fellowship with God and is able to know Him and His will for man’s life. (John 14:6)

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells each Christian and is significant in his education by bringing conviction of sin, revealing Christ’s glory, and guiding each believer in the truth. (I Cor. 2:12, 13)

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost; the saved to eternal life and fellowship with God, and the lost to eternal punishment and separation from God. (Matt. 25:1-46; John 5:29)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ and the need for accountability to a local fellowship of believers. (Eph. 4:3, 13; Rom. 12:5; I Cor. 10:17; Gal. 3:28; Hebrews 10:23-25)

Rutland Area Christian School exists to assist Christian parents in their responsibility to educate their children in the truth, knowledge and character proclaimed in the Word of God. We are committed to the historic Christian perspective of life as set forth in the Bible, recognizing God as the Creator of all things, and Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of all who acknowledge Him as Lord. It holds that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, that fellowship with God is the basis of true community, and that each student is uniquely created by God as a physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual being and is thus endowed with particular talents.
